Melissa Hartley

 

Research Technician

evolutionary genetics & cell biology

Melissa grew up in a small town in northern Colorado and after attending Fountain Valley School of Colorado moved east to Massachusetts to attend Mount Holyoke College.

 

While at Mount Holyoke, Melissa focused on evolutionary biology and completed her undergraduate honors thesis in evolutionary paleo-ichthyology. Melissa received her B.A. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry in May of 2011.

 

Melissa enjoys staying active and participating in as many sporting activities as humanly possible. After playing collegiate field hockey and lacrosse, she looks forward to running a half marathon and getting back on her BMX race bike.

 

Melissa is currently attending medical school at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
