Meghan grew up in rural Teton Valley, Idaho. She moved to the pacific northwest for college, where she received her B.S. in cell and molecular biology at Western Washington University. As an undergraduate, Meghan participated in research in Lina Dahlberg’s lab, studying neuronal pathways for protein quality control in C. elegans. Meghan moved to Salt Lake for the skiing, and joined the Elde Lab as a research technician in 2022. She is excited to learn more about genetics and to be involved in the science community. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, skiing, mountain biking, and camping.
